Stayed here for a work retreat and it was amazing. Our lunches were provided by the hotel and they were amazing. The food really hit the spot. The hotel is huge and divided into two parts by a sky walk. I stayed in the main one. Beautiful, rich history every where you go. But not over done. The room was spacious and the view was amazing. The events space was large enough for about 50 people to sit comfortable and also move about the space. Staff was helpful and nice. Easy to find and knowledgeable about the goings on. Location was perfect to hit up pearl Street and catch the night life. Just be careful as I did see some teens get in a fight after they hit a guys daughter on their bikes. Overall that wasn't even related to the hotel just a great pearl Street story. If I'm back in Boulder and need a place that is comfy and stylish with a great history this is the place.

Beautiful historic building, and the service and ambiance take you back to a bygone era. Amazing downtown location. It gets expensive around university move-in/out times but it's good value the rest of the time. The staff are friendly and helpful, my room in the north wing was clean and well equipped. My only complaint is that the AC fan in my room was a bit noisy starting up.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the people at the valet are friendly and super helpful. The front desk staff is not so much. She couldn’t explain properly how the Mountain View room reservation works. With her attitude, it left me wonder it’s all about discretionary. Watching her showing to a newer staff on how to check me in as an individual guest from a group reservation, she is obviously more knowledgable and senior. But her sense of hospitality leaves much to be desired.

VERY COOL, Classic, and old-school. We had a great overall stay. Our room was nice, albeit rather dated. Everything in the hotel is classic and historic. Location is SUPERB for walking to nearby dining, shopping, and bars. Excellent experience and friendly staff.

Do yourself a favor and ask Jim about the history of the hotel. Very interesting!!! Great guy who actually cares if you are enjoying yourself or not. Everything about this hotel is fantastic. Quick friendly and accomidating Valet. Epic rooms. Corner Bar has some of the best food in the entire area. The free access to One Boulder Fitness was a nice touch. We hiked Royal Arch (Black Diamond) then hit the sauna and hot tub. We will be back in the future.
