I work about 5 minutes from the love shack. I decided tonstop in on a Saturday and get the sampler. I had enough food for 3 meals lasting 3 days. The food was phenomenal and the gentleman that was working was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely will return to try more!!!!

All in all great food. Everything was amazing. My fiance ate so much food because of how much she enjoyed it she actually threw up on our way home. She's not used to eating so much. But she said the food was so incredible she couldn't stop. She also loved the ribs and she hates ribs. She said they were made exactly how she likes it. She's a very picky eater but loved everything we ate, we will definitely be coming back but this time she will have to control herself lol.

Called and ordered the ribs and chicken for a small gathering of friends at our home. The gentleman who took my order gave help in how much of each I would need for the group and offered to cut the chicken portions into half and the ribs into small sections for easier serving. This was a great suggestion and we will request it be done the next time we order, and there will be a next time. The ribs and chicken were both fabulous - falling off the bone tender, but not dry - done to perfection. Everyone enjoyed both. Our compliments to the cook!

This is more of a 2.5, but that's not really an option. My wife and I ordered food for pickup. Me a brisket sandwich with macaroni and baked beans, her a smoked ham sandwich with Amish macaroni salad and coleslaw. We also both got shakes. On the phone they told me it would take 40-45 minutes. I got there about 40 minutes after the call and settled up with the wait staff who told me my food was almost done and would be out in about 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, I was handed two bags of food. No biggie, I thought. Sometimes kitchens get a little backed up. Just before I walked out, I was stopped. The waitresses needed to check my bags to make sure it was the right order. It wasn't. It was the half rack of ribs and hamburgers that were meant for the irate gentleman standing to my left. I was happy that they stopped me from driving home with the wrong meal, but inquired as to when my food was going to arrive. The response was "6-7 minutes." Half an hour later I asked again. "Just wait." was the response. In total I spent an hour of my Friday night standing next to the counter. If they were that busy, couldn't they have just told me it would be an hour and forty minutes? I could have stayed at home with my wife and daughter instead of listening to angry customers who had to wait for their food or the nuanced opinions of two men in trucker caps regarding the covid vaccine's mind control ability. Eventually, I got my food and left. They even threw in a big cinnamon roll for the trouble. After the 5 minute drive home, the shakes were 60% melted, but still good. The sandwiches and sauces had good flavor, but little of the tenderness you might expect from slow cooked meat. The sides were out of cans or the freezer isle. The cinnamon roll was somehow both under cooked and dried out. The mac and cheese was particularly disappointing. Even a little salt and pepper would have gone a good way to dressing it up at least a bit. Heck, go wild and crumble up ritz cracker on top to really live! All in all, the combo of mediocrity and bad service make me want to stay a solid distance away in the future. There's good BBQ in the region. This just isn't it.
