Glass Beach was a very different experience than what I was expecting, but in a great way! I had imagined these huge bottles of glass in my head but the glass pieces on the beach were much smaller like pebbles than anything else. The soft rounded edges were awesome to feel and the plethora of colors was mesmerizing. We found a couple of larger pieces but the whole experience of pulling these out of the ocean was very neat. The area was full of wildlife found in tide pools and we could have spent hours here just exploring some more. I loved the area and it quickly became one of my favorite beach experiences on the California coast just because of the uniqueness of it. I highly recommend this stop if you are traveling in the area!

This was such a fun and magical place to explore. We went once at low tide, and once closer to high tide. Make sure to check the tide charts if you want to see more sea glass. There are a ton of different trails to check out, lots of tide pools with anemones and starfish. We saw a few ground squirrels, too. Can't wait to go back someday.

Not really a lot of glass, people pick it home and it is getting less and less. Still a nice beach with beautiful view. The glass is actually from people’s dumping, the locals say so and I feel bad knowing this. The whole coastline is beautiful and cold when wind blows. Very good place for walk and photos.

The glass crystals do not cover a large area as seen in many photographs. Nevertheless, it's a pretty decent beach. It's a quite a bit of walking from the parking lot to the water. We were here around Sunset and it was beautiful!

it's not a natural phenomenon, but it's still a beautiful spot. The sea glass isn't as plentiful as it looks like in a lot of the pictures you see, but that's because people keep taking the glass. Please don't take the glass. Leave it for future visitors to enjoy.
