Wow!! What an amazing afternoon!! Britt was so accommodating and wonderful. We enjoyed our time and never felt rushed. She made time to help each of us and even invited our children to see the kiln and other areas in the workshop. There were 5 in our group ranging in ages from 12 to 80 and none of us had any experience working with glass. We did the glass fusing class and we will definitely be back if we are in the area again. I can't say enough wonderful things about our time there. I recommend this for any group You'll really learn a lot about yourself and have fun and take home a beautiful piece of art that you created
I had SOOO much fun making a glass paperweight at Gilbert Glassworks. Brit is a terrific instructor who thoughtfully walked me through the process, starting with safety instruction, exercises to get a feel for working with glass, and finally making my actual paperweight. The studio is clean and very well stocked. This was such a delightful and unique way to treat myself. Well worth the $150 fee. I can't wait to go back and take my daughters too.
What a excellent adventure. Not cheap but worth the cost. For all ages
I am so glad I found Gilbert's Glassworks while on my recent visit to Panama City Beach! Russ and Brit were so friendly and knowledgable about working with glass, and lamp work specifically. I highly recommend visiting to try your hand at making your own beautiful piece of art! Reach out via the website if you have questions about class timings or anything else. They are quick to reply! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the 30A or PCB area!!
Russ and Brit are wonderful, caring people. I learned so much and am excited to get back home and fuse glass. They will tailor a class to your needs and have patience and knowledge to answer my many many questions. See you next year.
