Steak was excellent. Tasty and cooked perfectly. Waiters were attentive polite and attentive. Relaxed atmosphere makes me feel comfortable. Garbage salad was great! Fried calamari was the best I’ve ever tasted only topped by the grilled calamari in red sauce. Bacon and blue cheese appetizer is over the top delicious. The experience is worth the drive into the city.
There’s a reason why this restaurant has been open nearly 100 years. I went here with a group of 5 and had a truly enjoyable experience. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food is classic and the servings are generous. I had the seas bass and it was cooked perfectly. This place has had time to perfect their menu and it shows. Also, the history of notable patrons is fascinating.
It seems like everytime I go out for steak it isn't cooked right, or it is seasoned too much. However, Gene & Georgetti was the best steak I have ever tasted. It started out great, but got better and better with every bite. I highly recommend if you are looking for a nice steakhouse.
First time here. Great, light fried calamari. Had to try the garbage salad. It was very good. Would have liked more flavor beyond vinegar and oil. Chilean Sea Bass was amazing! Chicken parmesan was very good. Steaks/prime rib were good(hubby grills a superb steak, so it's tough to review a steak house). Old time atmosphere. Sat in bar area. Did not feel out of place with gym shoes, jeans and a nice top. Great atmosphere, great food, and you pay for it💲💲💲😁
Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. They are conscientious when it comes to gluten free options and are very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. I went there to celebrate and had a great time. The cocktail list is robust and the drinks are stiff.
