This park is so unique and historical and just awesome! It's hard not to like it, you get great views of Lake Union and downtown, the Space Needle, and constant float plane action. I visit here very often, it's like a mile away which is nice too! Highly recommend just hanging out and watching people!
Beautiful park! We hit it right at sunset, so the sights were wonderfully peaceful. My husband and I are from south central Texas, so we don't get to see views of water too frequently, especially not with a clear view of downtown. Such a great gem in Seattle, and we're glad to have stopped here. :)
Very interesting and fun place to visit. Pretty safe playground with plenty of toys, carousels, ladders and other. But old gas(?) pipes is my favorite piece. Tons of don't climb signs, but nobody cares
A wonderful community park in the heart of the city on the northern coast of Lake Union, it boasts spectacular views of the whole lake, all of downtown, and the surrounding neighborhoods. This lovely park is fun for the whole family or a romantic place for a picnic with a view. 🧺
Gasworks Park during the afternoon is probably one of the most peaceful places in Seattle. The view is spectacular and it’s perfect for a quick picnic. Parking isn’t an issue during the afternoon , especially during weekdays and the lawn is well maintained.
