If you are reading this review you likely aren’t someone that is choosing between the Aria or Wynn and Excalibur. So - since we all agree that Excalibur is one of the affordable casinos on the strip, let me add this as my review. It’s a wonderful hotel for the budget conscious. The rooms are reasonable. The food court is standard fair. And it’s the casino If you are bringing your kids.

Super nice hotel, right on the strip. Walking distance to everything on strip. Lots to do here. Clean rooms, priced according to time of year you book. Didn't care for their buffet. Just opened and food was cold. We've stayed here on four different occasions. You would love it. Ask for the royal tower, closer to parking area. You can request a lower floor also. Enjoyed every visit. Lots of different machines to play.

It's summer. During the week the lounge is closed, most hotels have music all week because it's busy and some people like to listen to music and dance. When my only option for fun is gambling, it's not a good option. Had we known, we would have stayed somewhere else. Yes, definitely call hotels and find out, but it's so damn hard to speak to a human. And all hotels, their websites suck!

We only went to the show so I can't say anything about the hotel itself. The show was great!! We have 5 small kids and so finding something that would keep their attention while still being PG was a challenge. The dinner show at the Excalibur fit the bill perfectly. Princesses, knights, dragons, jousting horses, etc. And the meal is eaten all with your fingers. That might make some squeamish but the kids thought it was awesome.

Excellent location, family friendly, you can easily access the Luxor and Mandalay Bay if you want to, or cruise the strip. Casino was very lively, great food court, if your bringing kids- there’s also an amazing and clean arcade. Royal Tower room was clean and cozy. I’ve stayed at a few different properties downtown and the strip, Excalibur is my favorite by far!!!! Will definitely be booking for next years trip!!!!
