My boyfriend kept wanting to try this place. It wasn't too far from us at all in Boyle Heights. You have to order in person. We went on a Friday as soon as they opened. Our favorite was their burrito. The dessert tacos reminded a bit of crepes, very interesting flavors that go well together. We'll be back would love to try other things on menu.

Inventive and extremely delicious. Gourmet but low key. Really professional pop up set up. These are truly some of the best and most authentic/traditional/legit yet innovative tacos I’ve had.

Visited on a Saturday right when they opened at 5:00pm. There was already more than a dozen people in line. Waited at least 30 min in line to place my order. The black pastor has a unique flavor and is definitely worth the wait. The chorizo verde was good as well. Also tried both dessert tacos. I would recommend the churro taco over the flan taco. Mad props to evil cooks for inventing new and interesting taco combinations.

I personally had the vegan alpastor tacos and one churro taco. The vegan alpastor is made with mushrooms it was delicious and flavourful. The tortillas were handpressed as advertised. The churro taco was full of flavor! It had dried rose petals and an abuelita chocolate sauce, all on top of crepe. The staff was friendly.

Finally checked out @evil_cooks this past weekend - was very excited for the combination of metal and darkness mixed with food 🤘🖤. ------------------------------------------ Pictured: 🌮 Black Al Pastor 🌮 Chorizo Verde 🌮 Carnitas Light 🌮 Churro Cheesecake Taco 🌮 La Bruja (flan) Taco My favorites were the green chorizo, carnitas, and the churro cheesecake tacos. I found these to be the most flavorful! I was kinda let down by the al pastor - it had very little flavor at all and tasted more like a bland asada than al pastor. Hopefully it was just an off day.
