Really cool park! Visited with some friends and there was a couple of really cool trails (although to the left and right is a plethora of Poison Ivy). I really want to come back and try riding some of the bike trails. I think they would be really fun, even trying out some of the jumps. I really thought it was impressive the bike station that had every tool to help fix your bike if something happened, or if you forgot your own tools. There was a HUGE party going on so we couldn’t check out the pavilion and the kiddy swings, which was disappointing for the daughter. Overall this is a cool place and we will definitely visit again!
We had the best time here. Kids from our co-op played for well over an hour just in the creek. Lots of open space to explore and run around, trails, trees, restrooms, and playground equipment. We've gone back several times recently and have enjoyed our visits every time.
Very crowded with too many people riding their mountain bikes on the trails. Thursday afternoon could hardly find a parking place. I love the trails and the scenery, but we need more places like this in North Texas to spread out the ever growing MTB enthusiasts. If you want a quiet walk alone without having to dodge bicycles, might try early in the morning.
Bike trail was intense as a beginner.
Great trails and amenities. The bike/hike trails are very well maintained and getting better every year. Almost 10 miles of trails. The camping areas are nice and spread throughout the park. DORBA deserves a lot of credit for all their work and effort.
