Editing my review to reflect recent experience. Despite years of ordering takeout, with fries included with meals, I was told tonight that takeout orders now do not come with fries or sides, though these items are included while dining in... For the same price. I feel completely ripped off. Original review: Always a great meal! Doc Ponds has a really unique variety of dishes and a consistent level of great customer service. The beer selection is great and the ambiance is relaxed. Perfect for apres ski. The parking lot is a little sketchy, but that's super minor. Consistently a five star experience!

We were thrilled that we could get in right away. We were able to get in without waiting on a Wednesday night. The cauliflower was good, but not not exceptional for $15. The half chicken was on the drier side and we were there before 5pm so it wasn't like it had been sitting there all night. The fries were great but only had a couple of tiny cups of ketchup and mayo. I'm sure they would have given us more had we asked so I appreciate that they are concerned about food waste. Our server was polite, attentive, and was able to answer all of our questions.

We enjoyed a great dinner at Doc Ponds! All the food was delicious, and there were some unique flavors that we loved. All the staff were pleasant and attentive. Lots of great cocktail and draft options too! Would definitely recommend and eat here again.

Burger … amazing. Fries … amazing. Hill Farmstead “Edward” … on tap. Heady … available. This might be the PERFECT Vermont dining spot! Walkable from many overnight accommodations.
