Wonderful, educational, informative, and interesting are some words I would use to describe our experience here! I highly recommend visiting here to learn more about the Holocaust. Admission for us both was only $32 at $16 a piece. We purchased our tickets on their website and selected a time slot. They were still following social distancing protocols, and required a mask, but had the layout of the exhibits arranged to flow with arrows marking the way.
This place is a wonderful place, really made me think! We need to come together in this country and treat each other the way we all want and deserve to be treated! The history this great place shows you is a history we had better never forget! A radical few almost killed off a whole people! We are all humans and we had better learn to act like it!
The experience was surreal. If you have known any kind of suffering you can relate. The images, the testimonials, the written accounts .... I cannot even sum up the emotional carnage & collective grief and grievances from this period in history is profound to say the least. This museum presented the in a tasteful yet retrospective way. It encouraged you to experience the exhibits fully and not just jaunt through without thought or consideration. When you have the occasion to touch down in Dallas visit the Holocaust Museum. Be prepared to think. Be prepared to act. Be prepared to identify and shed biases and racially charged beliefs. Prepare to be challenged and inspired! #tragedy #triumph #sacrifice #upstander
The detail and information available here was immense. With so much history being destroyed in America today it shows you how even on one of the darkest periods in human history it is still important to teach history. I highly recommend seeing the exhibit.
This is a very interesting and informative museum. There's so much to read, watch or listen to along with a few items on displayed. Not much of a place for children. You may get a little emotional so be prepare if you're a sensitive individual.
