I was surprised with a horseback tour for my 21st birthday by my dad, and it exceeded my expectations. The horses (most of which are rescued, most from horrible conditions) are capable and well equipped to handle riders from all ranges of experience. (I would suggest wearing a light colored shirt, waterproof sunscreen as the sun is very direct even in the water and to wear water shoes for comfort on the stirrups). I have ridden horses many times on land, but to swim with them was a whole new experience. The horse I had was energetic and glided through the water with ease, it was so exciting! They are incredible creatures and are taken good care of by the staff, you can tell that they are loved. It's so important to support businesses that choose to facilitate rescued animals. I felt very comfortable and instructed by the tour guide Maya. It was something I think everyone should try once. To ride a horse is to feel the incredibile strength and grace of an animal that trusts you. Thank you for the wonderful time!

BOOK THIS IMMEDIATELY! We had the best time ever riding and right after our ride we saw dozens of dolphins. The horses were beautiful, safe, and well taken care of. You can tell the staff love their horses. We loved our instructor Misty she was funny and very helpful and made our experience 10/10. We will 100% book again. They took amazing pictures, too. Make sure to buy the treats and the picture package - so worth it.

Great adventure!! First let me say, the horses are so well taken care of. In my opinion, that is most important and what everyone should pay attention to when renting a horse. If the horses or stable look bad, tell someone! This was no where near that. The horses were so easy to ride and very gentle. My horse Shamu was quite the swimmer. Our guides, Steph and Nikki were very patient specially with the people that had never ridden. They were also very informative about the horses and their history. Great guides! We were able to get 3 good swims. Its an amazing feeling to ride with such a majestic creature in the big ocean. This has to be tried at least once.

My husband and I decided to do this on our little weekend vacay and I must say it was absolutely amazing. Misty 2 and Lorie were our guides and they were very knowledgeable, patient, and fun. We could not ask for better guides. Our horses were Minnow and Dory and they were awesome. We will definitely be doing this again. I am also sending my parents to do this as well in July!!

ONCE IN A LIFETIME! This was an awesome experience. I rode Stella, and she gave me a wonderful ride. Our guide, Lorie, made sure everyone had a great experience. Thank you C Ponies for having us today!
