Good hiking spot with sunny and shady trails. Can get crowded.
There are kid's friendly trails too
Looks like they recently increased their daily park pass from $7 to $10. But we love hiking there. Lots of options. Easy enough for young kids. Picnics allowed. Very pretty views.
Absolutely beautiful! Fun, easy hikes with good trails. Some huge boulders that the kids, and me, love climbing over. Beautiful views everywhere! We saw mosquitoes, be prepared!, so you can enjoy the park.
What a great place to spend the day with kids! We parked at the West Lot. Walked to the waterfall trail and spent over an hour hiking in and out of the waterfall. Then had lunch. There are a ton of picnic tables scattered about everywhere. Then we did the cave trail across from the west lot. Spent over an hour up there. It was cool and shady. Tons to climb and explore. Lots of stairs though. But my 6 and 3 year old did fine.
