Bufalina Due on Burnet is great! The Neapolitan pizza is flash baked for 90 seconds in their large 900 degree oven. The flavors are great. We ordered the red pie with pepperoni, vodka arrabiatta with sausage, and the fresca pizza- all very different. I wanted the sausage though to not be crumbles. It’s a small place with quite the selection of wines. If you want some quality pizza, head Bufalina!

We came in for dinner super hungry. Since we have heard great things about this place, we were excited to try the food here. We got gnocchi with butternut squash and margerita pizza with mushrooms. I was shocked with the pasta quantity, it was the size of an appetizer. I thought it would be a full entree given its price. The gnocchi wasn't that great but the sauce made it better. Luckily we enjoyed our pizza, the sauce and the cheese was fresh and tasted good. But I have definitely had better neapolitan pizzas in Austin. For the price we paid, we were still left feeling hungry.

I had dinner at Bufalina with a friend, and I’m a bit surprised at all the 5-star reviews. First off, the food: we ordered the burrata appetizer and two pizzas. The “burrata” was basically mozzarella bufala, which is to be expected in most restaurants outside of Italy, but the real problem was that it was spiced irregularly and in parts turned out to be very over-salted. The pizza was decent, a bit too greasy for me, but ok. However, it’s certainly not the best pizza I’ve had in Austin, to be honest. In terms of atmosphere: the staff were nice, although the server seemed a bit out of it and didn’t really know the menu so well. We’d also ordered wine, which was forgotten about at first, but we had received a few complimentary items to make up for it, so that was a nice gesture. The service was on the slow side, especially when it came to our first pizza. The atmosphere at Bufalina was casual, which I liked but, being a rather small restaurant, it felt a bit tight and crowded. Overall, I’d say Bufalina is overhyped and definitely overpriced for what it is.

Absolutely delicious menu. Amazingly friendly staff. Starters: Burrata - 5/5 Pizza: Pickle Pie w/ Prosciutto - 5/5 Dessert: Tiramisu Cannoli - 5/5 Wow, just wow. Service is phenomenal. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The burrata is sooo fresh and tasty. The veggies that accompanied it were fantastic, and so was the ciabatta. The pickle pie is amazing. Really great flavors. Order the cannoli, and enjoy. They are absolutely incredible. Full of flavor, fresh, crispy, and taste like heaven.

Very intriguing aesthetic. Fresh mozzarella. The wine selection was huge. It was hard to choose one pizza. Pretty small so we got lucky that we could be seated right away. Fun check presenters.
