We are so happy we chose Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve as our wedding venue. We were looking for an outdoor venue that was a combination of casual, fun, whimsical, and beautiful, as well as a tribute to where my husband and I met – New Hope, PA. This checked all our boxes. Becca, the event coordinator, was so helpful from start to finish. She addressed all our questions and concerns throughout the planning process, was incredibly informative, and so attentive to our guests on the day of the wedding. The use of the golf cart was hugely helpful for some of our older or less mobile guests and was a lifesaver! We had our cocktail hour in the big front meadow next to the wildflower fields at the bottom, then our reception under the pavilion. Even with our count of 155 guests we were able to fit everyone comfortably under the pavilion, then we had the dance floor setup on the grass at the far end – so when the sun went down, we were dancing under the twinkle lights and stars. It was gorgeous!! Everything we hoped it would be, and more. Thank you Becca and all the team at Bowman’s for helping to make our day so memorable and special. We are so grateful!! **Photo credit: The More We See Photography

What a beautiful place! This is a unique property with over 700 varieties of native plants. There is a native plant nursery that has great prices and knowledgeable people to assist in choosing the right flower, tree or shrub for your home. It is fun to wander the trails and find all the flowers in bloom. The ponds come alive with frogs, turtles and dragonflies during the warmer months. There are many birds on the property and they even open early during Spring migration for birders. There are a few child friendly spots for the kids to explore and it's a wonderful place to learn about nature. I highly recommend a visit to this special destination.

Definitely a lovely garden even in the fall. Beautiful leaves and easy hiking trails deserve a family visit. Great choice for a family visit, especially for seniors. Normal ticket is $10 for each, but seniors can have $5 and college student is $7 if I remember correctly. Be aware that this is a large garden but not a state park if you are looking for a long hiking trip. A full visit takes 2 hrs maximum.

Appreciated that they gave us a rain check on our tickets since it was pouring on our reservation date.Highlights are hiking to see the dam and creek, plus the stone bridge and log cabin. The preserve is not dog-friendly, and there were no available restrooms or nature center open when we visited. We parked on the road and walked in, since it's popular on weekends. Great destination for enjoying fall color and well as wildflowers in the spring.

Such a beautiful wildflower preserve! We had a picnic there yesterday for our 4th anniversary! Beautiful trails and walking paths. Wonderfully maintained. There is a small fee per person for entry. We paid $7 each for us military peeps! Didn’t mind at all-worth the money in this gated preserve! Plenty of benches if you get tired or just want a place to relax and observe. I recommend. 5 minutes by car from Main St in New Hope, PA.
