Nature filled, beautiful and sportive trail for all ages ! Mix of everything - trees, creek, waterfalls ! The multiple waterfalls on the trail are very refreshing. You may also walk on the rocks in the middle of the creek. The trail path is paved but rough for buggies and fancy shoes! Suitable only for walking. The trail runs for few miles. Car parking is on the street side but it’s not with heavy traffic. Beware of not leaving valuables in the car.

Hard to believe there’s such a great gem only few minutes drive from city center. Just another reason why Austin is a special place. Great hiking trail, for all ages as well as dogs. Just walk along the river and you’ll enjoy many shades of colors. Saw some people with Crocs and flip flops, which doesn’t make sense. Sneakers is totally fine for dry days, but you would want to wear wet shoes or hiking boots for a better experience. I believe you can also swim at some places but not sure. All in all, awesome place.

Really nice walk. The start of the trail is a little rocky but it gets easier the further you go. The first waterfall (twin falls) is great. But the next waterfall is a must see. On the way to sculpture falls about half way you can also find a Tp next to a great oak. Where you can catch a cool pick. Please be mindful of your trash their is the only trash cans at the entrance

WARNING! The Green Belt is a beautiful hiking trail. You will not be disappointed if you arrive expecting a long hike through the woods. However, if you come expecting to swim? That can be very infrequent. For most of the year there is no water at all, and the rest of the time the water may be too low to swim in. Check and see if it has rained hard in Austin recently. If it has? Go down to Sculpture Falls and enjoy the water. If it hasn’t rained recently? Ditch the flippers and pack some water. These pictures demonstrate the different at Sculpture Falls. They were taken from the same place a few weeks apart.

Really great hiking trails. Relatively easy too. There’s a creek that you walk alongside that’s nice. My dog loved it. I’d walk to Sculpture Falls, it’s really nice to just sit and enjoy the waterfall. Make sure when you walk back to the trail head that you know which way you’re going as it splits between back to the parking lot or under the bridge.
