This was our #1 restaurant in Pinellas County. 20 years of dining out. But tonight I invited my family to dine her as as celebratory dinner for my Granddaughter graduation from University and it was a big bust. Not the service, our waiter was courteous, helpful and efficient. Although the food did take longer than one would expect given maybe 40% occupancy at 4pm. The menu that’s had been one to “die for” has with the new owners become something less. Much less unless you get excited anticipating kale. My wife loved the past Wedge Salad, (#1) in the county, which is no longer offered. In fact Iceberg lettuce can’t be found on the new menu. You want bread with your meal? That will be $6. Oyster Rockefeller made it on new menu but I’m sorry it doesn’t measure up to the past. 2 stars for its location and the super convenient valet parking.

Beach 400 delivers wonderful food. It is both a feast for the eyes and palette. The tuna tartar was a beautiful stack with quinoa and avocado. This was followed by a tomato and cucumber salad with smooth delicious goat cheese and balsamic vinegar. The main course was 6 beautiful shrimp on a smooth and savory grit puree with well cooked thick bacon bits. The meal was topped off with a crispy cobbler of peach and blueberries with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.  Our server ,Joe was also very attentive and personable. Overall it was a terrific and enjoyable experience. It is recommended that you give it a try. You won't be disappointed!!

Great food and even better service. We were there on Thanksgiving for our holiday meal and had the pleasure of being served by Joseph. What a pleasant young man! He was on-point and made good food taste even better. If I wasn’t retired I’d hire him away from you! We will be back and will ask for Joseph!

We wanted to check this restaurant due to the raving reviews however, we found it very mediocre. We ordered the crab cake appetizer, the 2-4 seafood platter which had fresh crab, shrimp and oysters. We also had the house salad and the steak kids meal. We did enjoy the salad a lot and our 3 year old enjoyed her steak. Nothing was bad by any means, just. Blah. With a blah server.

We dropped in for Monday afternoon drinks while our girls were playing beach volleyball. We ordered the oysters and drinks. Oh my goodness. The oysters were the best I've EVER had. Absolutely amazing. Our server was great and so was the atmosphere... outside dining was wonderful. Definitely recommend the oysters.
