This is a lovely restful place to visit. There are plenty of quiet places to sit and enjoy the landscape. The landscapes are varied, representing different tree habitats, as well as water gardens and walled gardens. The cafes are good and reasonably priced. A good day out.
Home to the Millennium Seed Bank this is a must visit destination for gardeners and anyone interested in plant science. Perfect for children too, with it's woodland play area and acres of grounds to explore. The festival of science weekend is particularly great for families with impressive hands on activities and shows.
Very nice place to visit. Nice gardens and lots to see. But the national trust don't own the car park. And if you're there more then 2.5 hour you will be charged the maximum of £10.00.
Great place for a walk but £13 admission fee seemed a bit high. Food options in the cafe was limited and quality was not great either. Overall, a good place to explore if you have national trust membership but not so much for one off visit.
If you love gardens then you should enjoy Wakehurst Place. So peaceful and tranquil, especially the walled garden. Where a gorgeous robin joined us for a while and brought some peace to our broken hearts 💕.
