The tower of London was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The crown jewels were absolutely brilliant and stunning. I understand the need to simply experience them and not have constant photos being taken, but it is a little disheartening to be unable to capture the memory via more than my own eyes and brain. We were not present at the tower for long as we were crunched for time, but that was our own fault. Regardless, it's beautiful and definitely worthwhile as you can see the crown jewels - and there is nothing like seeing those jewels in person.

Although the Tower is around 1000 years old, I appreciated the efforts made to make as much of it as accessible to me as possible. I was particularly impressed with the comprehensive access guide, detailing accessibility of the various areas around the grounds. As it was school holidays, there were lots of family-friendly activities. These are an entertaining way for both children and adults to learn about the history of the Tower. I particularly enjoyed the actors dressed up as famous people associated with the Tower, who spoke to members of the public in-character. On this occasion, we were only able to spend about 3 hours at the Tower, but I would love to visit again one day, possibly spending a whole day.

What can I say, this is a historic landmark. Not overpriced, if I could wish for anything it definitely would be a bag/coat service. I couldn't check into my hotel until the afternoon so lugging around a bag up and downstairs sucked. Not their fault though. This place has a lot to see for a good price. You could easily spend half or a full day here.

The Tower of London is magnificent! If you love history it is worth the money when in London. Seeing the Crown Jewels and learning about the history of this amazing structure was on my bucket list and I am so happy I got to check it off. I would recommend giving yourself about 3 hours to get through it if you want to have plenty of time. Take the train to the Tower Hill stop and you’ll be right there! While you’re there, you’ll be able to see the incredible London Bridge as well. Enjoy this beauty!

I had no idea how awesome the tower of London is, I spent 2 hours here and it was simply... amazing! The structure itself was really cool, and all of the history that has happened there is astounding! The highlights for me were the Crown Jewels, The Armory at the White tower and the amazing view of modern day London. You cannot miss visiting this amazing place! As always, get there early to avoid crowds.
