I booked the 3 day a tour. As a solo traveler who doesn't drive I was searching for a tour that would take me into the Highlands for a few days. After a lot of research and reading the many, many positive reviews for Hairy Coo I went with the 3 day tour, and I have no regrets. It was truly the highlight of my trip. Brian S. was our tour guide and he had us all singing and laughing even when we were tired or wet. He tried to make sure that everyone was having fun by chatting with and getting to know everyone individually. He managed to chase away the rain for Isle of Skye and shared interesting stories about the history of Scotland. It's clear that he loves his job and is passionate about it's past and sharing why Scotland is so amazing. The tour was set at a good pace with lots of opportunities to get off the bus, see places of interest, try yummy snacks, take bathroom breaks, snap pics of Hairy coos and enjoy the breathtaking views that are the Highlands. Not to mention the perfect accompanying soundtrack. By the end of the trip I had made new friends, new memories and left my heart in the Highlands. I really can't say anything bad about this tour other than that it had to end. Maybe book the 5 day one instead! If I have another opportunity to book with Hairy Coo I would do it in a heartbeat.

It was my 2nd time taking a tour with The Hairy Coo and it gets better each time. Took the 5 day highlands tour with my wife and it was spectacular. From the initial correspondence till the final drop off, every thing was thought off, planned and perfectly executed. Our tour guide, Michael, was exceptional. His in depth knowledge of the places we visited was only second to his passion for the job. It was never boring even for a second- he kept all of us engaged. There was no cheap selling or forced recommendation like other tour companies- these guys are the real deal. I will definitely surely try them again once I am back I Scotland. 5 star rating for spectacular tour. Highly Highly recommended.

This tour is perfect if you want to explore some of the main sights of Scotland in one day and also be entertained during the trip. Our guide, the King in The North (he is also known as John) and a genuine Scotsman, did an amazing Job giving interesting information about the places we where passing through and telling the background stories and historical events. His introduction and entertainment program alone was worth the money! Thanks John for an awesome day!

The Hairy Coo tour my mom and I went on with Colin was so much fun! He did an excellent job entertaining us while still educating us at the same time. We were looking for a tour that incorporated as much as possible and the 3 day tour really allowed us to see many amazing and popular sites quickly. (But for those wanting more time at locations maybe pick a longer tour) I also felt like we got a really nice combination of popular attractions but also local insider places off the beaten track. We were never bored and had an absolute blast! It was definitely the highlight of our trip to Scotland. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My husband and I bought this tour on Expedia after reading some reviews and we cannot say enough good things about them! Before the tour they were very good about quickly responding to any questions I had through email. We had Colin as a tour guide and he was entertaining, funny, informative and energetic and just made the tour for us! You can tell he really loves what he does! We have been on tours in San Antonio, New York, London, Nicaragua, Honduras, etc. and this is the best experience with a tour we have ever had! Tour with the Hairy Coo! You will be so glad you did!
