We love this place. A quirky gastro pub with a great atmosphere. Dog friendly too. We are both veggie / vegan and occasionally struggle to find the perfect meal as the menu is traditional and meat based. It would rate as 5 star if a wider range of.non meat options was offered. Overall, well worth a visit.

If you could have the perfect pub then this pub would come very close. Superb food. Good choice of real ales. Friendly staff. Decent parking Nice spacious beer 🍺 garden. One of my favourite pubs. Love going here for a nice lunch. And also enjoy the terrace area looking over the garden. Nice in the summer months.

Lovely meal. Very friendly & helpful staff. The fires & candles are lit & the Xmas decs are very tasteful giving a fabulous Xmas atmosphere. My only negative was that a few light bulbs were out making it a little too dark.

The best pies in the county. A wonderful warm and friendly pub. Efficient, friendly and well informed staff. A great time was had by all.
