50 St Katharine's Way, St Katharine's & Wapping, London E1W 1LA, UK
One of my favourite places along the Thames River. Close to the Tower Bridge and Tower of London so you can enjoy afternoon tea after a visit to the two mentioned icons of British history. Give it a try. You won't regret it.
A lovely place to visit on a nice sunny day. The views are great and there are a good amount of restaurants and bars. If you walk past the barrier you can get a great up close view of tower bridge.
Nice place to visit. It can get very crowded with tourists, so bear that in mind if you're looking for a quiet place for lunch. Furthermore, there are a lot of joggers going through the area, so you may have to jump out of their way from time to time. The benches near Thames are nice to sit in the sun and provide a panoramic view of all the activity on the river. Extraordinary view of the Tower Bridge as well.
Today was a Historic Ships event, with musicians playing big band music, face-painting, food stalls, water-bicycle things and water paddling-boards that you could have a go on. Of course the dock was prettily decked out with bunting, etc, on all the boats moored up. A very pleasant day soent mooching around in the sunshine!
Feels like a holiday in France. A very different part of London. Lovely vibes, some good food places around as well. Relaxing and location hidden for the tourists, but still close to public transport and next to Tower Bridge and Tower Hill
