This pandemic caused a lot of changes to be made and the Sovereign Centre staff has, in my opinion, coped as well as they could in making sure the centre is as safe as reasonably possible. I think 60 people in the fun pool during a session is probably still too many but at least they are trying. The dressing rooms and poolside areas have been clean and tidy each time we have been able to use the facilities.

Great! Lots of mummies, daddies and children in the fun pool. I swim in the gala pool (lane swimming) which is going back to 6 lanes from Mon 19-7-21. Have found a new home at the Sovereign Centre since Motcombe closed. Lots of friendly swimmers and staff 😁🏊‍♂️

Nice but the water is cold. Some like it that way I suppose, not me. Edit; The smaller pool was a lot warmer, and more pleasant for me. Only the gala pool was open when I visited.

really good and it was a pleasure to see the 2 male life guards on today to control how many could be in each lane. Well done those guys.This was between 7am and 8am.

Better with the extra cleaning. Historically had been pretty grim but since Covid they’ve stepped up the cleanup and it’s nice.
