River Hepste, Neath CF44 9JZ, UK
With the heavy rains of the previous days, what a scenery. You can mesure all the strength of the nature and our Mother Earth. Nevertheless, three of the four waterfalls require, IMO, a good health, suitable shoes and correct physical condition. Don't need to be an athlete, just a usual hiker. People that don't walk on a regular basis may have some difficulties to climb down and climb up again. Be prepared.
Beautiful place to experience welsh forest with waterfalls. There are some other waterfalls dotted around this area. I only explored 4 waterfalls but next time I will be definitely back for more.
Really awesome waterfall and if you're brave enough, you can venture behind the waterfall too. If you do, prepare to be soaked. We also collected some of the water and it was ice cold and really refreshing.
Lots of waterfalls, lots of people. Really quite impressive. It's not easy to get down to some of the waterfalls as the steps are steep but well worth ir once you're there. Avoid on bank holidays - we had to queue to get to some of the waterfalls.
This location was a lot of fun to get to and spend the day at. The walk that takes you there is really nice as it is surrounded by lovely looking forestry. The waterfall itself is beautiful and can accommodate for a lot of visitors with a large portion of the adjacent river being rather shallow. A walk around and under the waterfall is really fun and lovely to take photographs of.
