After giving him several options of places in the city, my 9 year old opted for the London Aquarium to visit on his birthday. We had some 2 4 1 vouchers obtained from McDonald's, so i was happy, especially as our family of 4 would have been the wrong side of £100! Note: the vouchers aren't accepted at the ticket office, so book online. (Fortunately, one of their many helpful staff offered some assistance, which was appreciated). You then get a code, which you enter into one of their prepaid machines, avoiding the queues. If only I'd known that first before standing in the queue for so long! So after we got in, my son and his 7 year old sister were absolutely enthralled with the various displays. The looks on their faces, the amount of times they said "wow!" and "look" clearly demonstrated their engagement and excitement. I too found it fascinating and could have easily spent a lot longer (especially the largest display) just sitting and watching. It is true - fish are relaxing to watch! Plenty to see, so although it is quite pricey, I would consider it to be good value. Tip: go and buy a couple of Happy Meals to get the vouchers, you'll get your money back and more! I definitely would recommend this attraction. My only comment is to have more staff available please; my children often had questions that I couldn't answer and because it's downstairs, there was no Google! It should be an educational experience as much as it is entertaining.

An amazing place to visit! I though it is a small, old place, and not worthy for spending money and time here; however, it surprised me! There are so many kinds of creatures according to the areas they used to lived at. In addition, it is quite good if you visit here with your kids since I can feel how considerate the design is for. Very clearly explains the key facts of each animal in a simple way. And finally, nice staff! Will visit here again!

Much more than I expected. We visited With some friends and a toddler, and it was great entertaining. The sharks tanks can be seen from every angle and all the other species are quite spectacular. We loved the penguins (of course) and appreciated The Amazonian recreation. Also, we visited in a sunny Saturday at the end of summer, and it still was great and not too crowded. I would recommend it at any time for any age!

It was great. I couldn't help but appreciate what it must have taken to setup the place and what it takes to maintain it. The fact that they are also involved in sea-life preservation is amazing. It gives the business a deeper purpose than just a tourist attraction. I loved it! Great for kids too.

Great layout, huge living coral. There are larger sea life centres however not many are in the middle of a capital city and so have a larger footprint to work with. This is great for what it is, penguins, sharks, tropical fish, a amazon area to name but a few. Would highly recommend on a 2 for 1. Please support
