We really enjoyed our evening here. This is a great venue for music and drinks. The music was excellent and I was surprised by the variety and quality of the non-alcoholic cocktails. A couple of disclaimers. Food is average, but steeply priced. Not a lot of legroom (think Ryanair) I was fine as I am only 5'8 but would have hated it if I was any taller.
We took a couple of friends for Sunday Lunch for their 'special' birthdays and thoroughly enjoyed the band. The food & service were excellent. This was our first visit to Ronnie Scott's, and will not be our last. Definitely advise booking ahead.
Same great ambience downstairs as it was years ago. Don't plan on drinking much there unless you have deep pockets. Upstairs was pretty lively when we went, a good place if you fancy a bit of a bop to great live music.
Tried the upstairs lounge and it did not disappoint! Incredible music, delicious drinks ( although not cheap), and wonderfully, old school atmosphere. Service was a bit slow, and we had to flag a server down every time we needed something, but when they came over, they were sweet and helpful so no big deal. Added bonus was that there was not a single person there on their smart phone the whole night. Haven’t had a real experience like that in a long time. Would definitely go again!
Lovely atmosphere with dim lighting and old photigraphs that smacks of history. Excellent music and good food to enjoy while listening. An upstairs room too for dancing and more of a party atmosphere. Something for everyone!
