A great tour of the house with a very knowledgeable guide. Well worth the time & money. A shame the weather didn't allow for walking round the beautiful grounds, maybe another day. Lunch & coffee also very good.

I liked it because the grounds were not too formal and everywhere was relaxed and peaceful lots of benches scattered around where you could sit all day if you want to. The Peacock Cafe didn't disappoint either altogether a lovely experience.

Excellent day out, we visited around lunch time. We arrived booked our tour at the reception when we payed.Then visited the Cafe a little pricey, but nice. Very interesting lots of history and information. The gardens were beautiful and were very pleasant to wander around.

The gardens are beautiful and much larger than I had expected. The cafe offered a nice break for lunch but the wendy house in the kids' play area seemed to be the real star of the show when we went. A great find, highly recommended to all.

Found this house and so glad we paid a visit. The staff are all lovely and Sue 2 who showed us around was amazing with her humour along the way. Next time I go I'll take a picnic as the grounds are so lovely and chilled out.
