Great place for all the family including the dog. Secure dog park and bags and bins provided. Water bowls aplenty. The cafe, gardens, parkland and the new explore and play natural playground are all excellent. And the potter is awesome too!

Lovely place with beautiful walled garden. Lots of paths to meander around. A place to chill out and get close to nature. Every season has something to offer. A very special time is April/May for the spectacular show of Rhododendrons. There is a cafe. There is a great enclosed dog exercise area.

Very well presented National Trust gardens in Saintfield, Co. Down. Lots of woodland paths to explore and stunning walled garden make Rowallane worth a visit. There's a selection of gifts in the shop; a relaxing cafe; potter on site most days and a second hand bookshop all complemented by various events throughout the year. The new children's Explore and Play area is also a great addition.

We have visited almost every year since it opened to the public. Have enjoyed watching all the new projects come to life and evolve into their surroundings, now looking as if they have always been there. They will be even nicer in the years to come. Love everything about Oakfield.

Was quite surprised by this place the garden is well done and planned out. I was there when the plant fayre was on highly recommended.
