the place is nice, crowded. I like the 2nd floor dinning. the bar tender/waiter was very kind and helpful. steak was great so was the fish and chips. price very reasonable
Lovely outdoor seating and great Guinness. Staff polite and hard working. Not normally my spot to drink but was walking about and it was sunny so stopped in and will definitely be back again many times.
Fun pub, old world style, with nice selection of beers and lical talent performing traditional Irish music. This evening we had a flutist and some old style stringed instrument. Certainly got the crowd singing! Only drawback is the high prices but I guess that should be expected in that area given it's historic value.
Fish & chips were excellent. Irish stew was good but could do with more lamb & less potatoes. The atmosphere was great & bar staff were very nice.
How could you pass up the opportunity to have a Guiness in a pub which was founded 59 years before James Cook visited Australia. Fantastic little pub with great food, drink and atmosphere. The bar staff are friendly and conversational. Will take a great memory home with me to Australia.
