Great wee pub. Was very busy today but didn't have to wait too long for the food. Ordered the specialty burger and chips and it was the best burger I've had in a long time. The atmosphere was lively and friendly and the staff were very helpful and good with my kids. The enclosed beer garden was a plus for us as it meant my wife and I could relax without having to worry about the kids and the views of the river were lovely. We will definetly be back to this little gem.
On holiday in N.Ireland met my family in Antrim, first time we went, to Maddens Bar, it was extremely friendly. A family run Bar. Had my family with me from Gosport, 3 grandchildren daughter inlaw Lorraine it was amazing being able to take the girls who also loved it. Went in to meet the family Violet Paul Donna Lees, and Donna, Darragh, after our first visit we make it a family get together twice a year. Then introducing more family to Maddens Bar, we had food. Well that is something else now we do. Plans for a family meal every time we are over home. Such a lovely Bar infect a local when we go home. Xxx
Great gin night. Would highly recommend it
Good food, fine ale and a pleasant atmosphere. All in all, a very enjoyable experience. Great live entertainment at weekends too! Go on. Give Maddens a Go!
Brilliant meal and not expensive staff are friendly
