Nice and cozy place with very tasty food. We tried their tasting menu and the variations were pretty good too. We went there on thursday before 6 to get a place straight away and we did :)
Hopper's has some of the best food I've ever tasted. I would give it ten stars if I could. I had the Hopper's tasting menu, and all the food was phenomenal. The chicken curry was especially delicious!! I also loved the White Ruby Punch. I wish I could go back for more!
Really nice food, terrible service. Menu is interesting and varied, plenty of options for vegetarians. Food is well prepared, tasty and fresh. Prices are on the higher side, but not more expensive than the average in the area. Nice and very expensive drinks. The only real problem we had was the service. Our waiter was very invasive, constantly taking stuff away from our table - I put down my napkin after having barely used it and he just took it as he walked by. He rushed us to pay and leave (even though we went for a late lunch and the restaurant was half empty). Also charged us more money when splitting the bill and wouldn’t believe he had done the maths wrong until we showed him on a phone calculator. Still recommend it for the food though.
Fantastic food, lovely service- would go again. Perfect place to order plenty of dishes and share with friends. Definitely get an egg dosa per person! The one in Soho is quite cramped with different parties sharing tables. This doesn't bother me but can be hassle for others.
Absolutely awful service. Waiter wouldn’t even allow us through the door and told us to wait outside. Waited outside whilst we watched swathes of customers being seated. When asked if there was a table free, we were told to carry on waiting outside. Absolutely no excuse for such poor service and manners.
