Lovely spot to get a beautiful shot of the Jacobite steam express. There are two parking spots available but gets filled up fast so definitely go early if you are going to see the Jacobite steam express crossing the viaduct. There is a also a 10-15 minute walk (easy climb) from the parking to the view point. The train crosses the viaduct twice daily and the times are available online (changes slightly depending on the season ). Once the train leaves the station it takes 40-45 minutes to reach the viaduct so do account for it.
Stop here on route to the Ferry, very small car park and about a 10/15 min walk if you want to climb up the hill on the other side to get a better view. I imagined if you planned ahead correctly and timed it with a train going over it would look decent.
Wonderful bridge. Park your car in nearby visitor centre and walk up to this wonderful bridge. It’s a lovely walk and if you are lucky then you would see deers too. Beautiful scenic views are all around this bridge. This bridge has featured in Harry Potter movies too.
Brilliant wee walk to see the Harry potter train. Would definitely recommend it to everyone as it costs nothing to stand and watch it pass by at 3pm. This place truly makes Scotland seem magical!
Accessible via road next to car park. Easy roll for great views of the Viaduct made famous by the Harry Potter movie. View only from below. Muddy vertical path, suitable only for mountain goats, to see track from above.
