Best place to have breakfast in Oxford! Delicious coffee & baked goods - you can tell it’s fresh. Croissants, quiche, fresh bread, sweet treats, porridge, etc are all great. The atmosphere is basic but cute and a good place to work.
Not really my thing. Very busy , noisy and hot. The bread is good but not exceptional and it is extraordinarily expensive. The pastries are acceptable, but it would be nice to have a few English offerings, Ecceles cakes, custard tarts, lardy cakes etc. In fairness with a name like Gail's bakery maybe it is French, but then, why not Gail's Boulangerie or Patisserie. Oh, and the pain au raisin doesn't have enough custard on it, but that seems to be a common failing of such pastries these days irrespective of where you purchase them.
The best atmosphere, the food ,the staff all fantastic
The best place to buy freshly bread baked in Jericho. The maple bacon French toast is also well worth a cheat day!
During a long hot day, a very nice cup of tea was served to me. Very well set out.
