Local farm shop selling fruit vegetables and meats. A lot of the fresh produce , and some meats are actually grown and reared on the farm. A good selection of items on sale. Not the cheapest place to shop, but always good quality. Plenty of parking available.

This is what a farm shop should be like, local produce straight from the fields, been here many many times over the years, its changed a lot from 30 years ago, only managed to get a few plums today because this place is proper busy and not much ripe stuff left, it's a real shame you get people picking stuff then chucking it before they check out, if it's not ripe at least leave it on the plant and then you got the munchers who think it's free to eat as much as you like, its called theft, honestly senseless behaviour reduces what's available for others, otherwise in the past its always been pretty good, need to plant more stuff guys lol

Well made a special journey to go and have breakfast then look at the deli/shop. Well here are some observations . If you are going to offer eggs Benedict on bagels make sure the Bagels are toasted otherwise they are tough and with the knives supplied impossible to cut properly and therefore any enjoyment is spoilt. Also why would anyone want a salad with their eggs or does the cook have higher aspirations?? Perhaps one day they would like to be a chef!! Try serving them on Muffins. The farmers breakfast was average to say the least with the black pudding being very poor quality. Brown toast not toasted just lightly singed and the butter pats thrown on to the hot food so they had melted and had to be poured on to the singed brown bread. The tea bag in the pot of tea must have been the cheapest available and looked like the proverbial Cat's P. (and yes i did let it stand). My partner who only drinks coffee said it was the worst cappuccino she had ever tasted as the coffee tasted bitter. Looked in the shop and was not impressed so lets just say we wont be back. Final comment overpriced/poor quality and overrated

Essington farm is a good place to spend your day with kids for fruits picking. We unfortunately selected a bad day for strawberries as we didn’t get a good catch however we did get raspberries, blueberries and plums.
