41-45 Eastgate St, Chester CH1 1LE, UK
First saw this peeking over other buildings as we approached from the south on the walls. The site itself was fascinating but difficult to get near without being in hundreds of photos. Shame because it was a great place to appreciate the Rows. It stands tall and proud over the main street and so it should! Really well looked after and maintained, it's a lovely feature to see from a distance or up close.
What a beautiful clock. I walked all the Roman walls of Chester today and this was one of the splendid sights to see. Well photographed. Well worth going to see if you are in Chester
Chester, always worth a visit, absolutely brilliant place to eat, shop, admire and enjoy. Let yourself go and be absorbed into its fantastic atmosphere. If there are just too many places and shops to visit, stay overnight, the hotel smack in the middle if town is just perfect.
This is a tourist attraction in chester. would suggest to go in the evening to see it with lights. Thought it would be much more but still good.
Moderately interesting late Victorian clock on a bridge. Has the right time which is a good for a clock I suppose. If you're planning a visit to Chester just to see this clock, I'd re-evaluate your life choices. It's just a clock. Go and see the Roman amphitheatre instead, it's much more interesting.
