This place was definitely special. There’s benches outside along the alleyway. And there’s more seating available around the back which makes it a lot more spacious than it seems when you enter the bar. Has a character of its own and is definitely worth the hype. Would highly recommend. One of the best bars in Belfast.

Big pub with loads of space and lots more signs dating back many years! Fun vibe, lots of drinks options and beers on tap. Staff are good and efficient. Friendly place for locals and tourists alike!

A great bar in a great area, live music as well. There is a fantastic atmosphere in this area of Belfast and this is felt in Duke of York. I had friends visiting from England and they loved it as well. The Guinness was good and the craic was better.

This is a great historical Belfast bar with great Belfast crag and music. You will find the staff are typical of the local friendly nature. Wherever you are from , you will feel amongst friends here. Highly recommended.

One of the best if not the best bar in Belfast. Bar staff friendly and welcoming. From 6 pm on a Saturday live music which adds to the outside feel. If the only place you visit in Belfast is the Duke you will have captured the essence of Belfast.
