Hadn't been before but glad I did. Great looking place. The food was extremely tasty! Extensive wine and drinks menu. Very comfortable atmosphere. The staff were faultless and very friendly. It has outside seating as well. But as the restaurant is on the corner of 2 main roads, it can be noisy from the traffic. Having said that, I highly recommend going.

Delicious food, warm friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Found it on Tuesday, went back on Wednesday. Returned again this morning. The staff are the 🍒 cherry on the cake. Eating outside was amazing especially in the very heavy rain under the canopy on Wednesday evening. This place gets me excited about food again when I was starting to struggle as a ongoing legacy from radiotherapy and the warm weather recently. Wide selection of menus included vegan and vegetarian options. I recommend the house red wine. Comfortable relaxing surroundings and a great experience.

Back in January 2017 I applied for kitchen duties as I was tight for cash and between jobs. I was called to do a trial, unpaid shift washing dishes. Think about that - an unpaid trail washing dishes. I started early, got no break, no food and when 6pm came along and I needed to leave as these were the outlines times for the day, I was told I needed to stay - again unpaid. Not asked but told. I was then told I'd get a call back the next day for the job and I never did. Called reception 2 days later and was ghosted ever since. I wonder what the law is on exploiting people (particularly vulnerable young people) to work for free. Can happily say I am in a much better position now. Shame on you Cyprus Avenue, I've finally gotten the guts to write this review.

This was a disappointment, I had looked forward to my first visit since the very tasteful extension both inside & outside. Impressed as I walked in staff were generally very upbeat and enjoyed the excellent environment. But the food was not great. We had two dishes and both had too much going on .....the flavours were lost. I loved their emphasis on sourcing local quality produce, but alas it was 2 1/2 stars on the plate. Ambience pulled it up to scrape a 3. No plans to return!

First visit to Cyprus Avenue with its stylish decor & ambiance. Not pretentious but really comfortable & relaxing dining with good vibe back ground music.The service was excellent & any of the staff attending us were extremely pleasent & knowledgeable. The food & menu was exceptional & sufficient portion sizes to suit. We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience to this really lovely restaurant & it won't be our last. We would definitely recommend that you try for yourself but make a reservation as it always seems to be buzzing.
