Cuckmere Haven, Seaford BN25 4AR, UK
This is one of my favorite spots on the south coast. Great views of the Seven Sisters cliffs from the Seaford side and a lovely beach to sit, relax and enjoy life.
Beautiful location for a gentle, flat walk from the car park to beach area. You can walk on a grassy path or a concrete path that runs the length of the walk. Each way takes about 40 minutes - be aware there are no toilets on route or at the beach. Great views of the cottages and of course the cliffs of the South Downs. The car park is really busy - we arrive at 10.00am or earlier, at peak times you will find it getting full at this time.
Picturesque beach at the mouth of the Cuckmere river, which probably doesn't ever get crowded. Parking is around two miles away. Facilities there are none.
Pretty. A painters paradise. Danger of too many tourists spoiling the sense of space and wilderness of this nature reserve. Please take your litter home.
Great place for a walk the views are stunning. One of my favourite places to go.
