I came here with my friends and we were excited to try the new Crabshakk location as we hadn't been for a while. On entering, the atmosphere is beautiful, the interior design is breathtaking, and the waitering staff impeccably attentive to our table. We trialled most of the shellfish and some specials, I enjoyed every bite. The desserts were also lovely. Unfortunately, went I got home, I became very sick and most of my dinner ended up in our car park and in the bathroom. It seems that I got food poisoning. I don't know what dish caused it but I can say that I ate a vegetable broth with bread earlier in the day so I don't think that caused it. This experience has knocked my confidence to return back.

Amazing food with nice atmosphere. I’m not really an oyster lover, so I only ordered 3 oysters. I have to say it really surprised me! Sweet, buttery, a bit salty and fresh but not fishy at all! Admittedly the price is slightly more expensive than what I've had in other seafood cities, you’ll find it worth the price! Anchovy scallops are worth mentioning as well, taste sweet with a firm texture. Such a shame it could have been the top best scallops I’ve ever had if I hadn’t gotten sand in it. The rest of the dishes are quite nice, with ingredients that worth the price, but perhaps could be better with more novelties.

The lemon sole on the bone was magnificent. However, loud music inhibited talk at table...asked for it to be turned down, got thumbs up from adjacent tables...5 minutes later it was blaring again. Waiter was disorganized & very slow....rude also. Mentioned these points before we paid for table of 6 and the manager said he would "take it on board" Definitely not for us. Ann Fisher

Good spot for having seafoon in a busy town. And this is a busy restaurant, so better to reserve long day before from their web to secure a table for your desirable time. Food tastes good and fresh, but dont expect to see a huge portion except for the mussel that comes in a huge pot. A must try restaurant.

Absolutely gorgeous. Brilliant atmosphere amazing staff and a truly warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our server Ian was just sublime. His recommendations on the oysters was a bullseye hit and we were so impressed with his service. Definitely will come again and for the fact this their new restaurant, they showed no teething problems whatsoever. Maybe one thing we could say would be the cocktails are slightly small for the price and the choice needs to be bigger. This is just a personal preference. Thank you Crabshakk we will be back
