Went here for lunch in the conservatory room. Lovely atmosphere and indeed very romantic. Staff was very friendly and so service was good. We had the 2-course option. Food was not exceptional but was good in our opinion. We celebrated our anniversary there so they prepared little chocolates for us, which was a nice surprise.
Okay but did not live up to the hype and definitely not the most romantic restaurant in London. We did not sit in the conservatory but did look directly into it and honestly could not see what all the fuss is about. Portions were small, the dishes classic and generally well executed but lacked flavour. The wild mushroom tagliatelle was gritty indicating the mushrooms had not been prepped properly which is not what you’d expect when paying 250 for two people. Feels like a tourist trap and would not visit again. So many better places in London in this price bracket.
Perfection! One of the best restaurants in London. Sitting at the conservatory is definitely a must for special occasions. The food is amazing, from starters to dessert. Their staff is friendly and attentive, very professional. Their attention into detail is great! Their wine selection is also really good.
Superb I really live every dish we have, delicious and perfectly cooked. Staff were nice and helpful. However, you have to book in advance if you like to dine here.
Exceeded already high expectations. We went in hoping for a lovely view (booked a table in the conservatory), which we got. We were blown away by the food and service. The veggie option was seriously good, too. Would visit again in a heartbeat.
