Good place for a quick snack. Buns were fluffy but the ones with meat didn't have as much filling as I wanted. The egg yolk one was the best though. Super messy and delicious. Milk tea was really pricey for just a small cup. But it did taste nice. Overall good enough if you were in the area and wanted a snack etc.
The buns are one of the best ones I've had around Chinatown. Bun House has a pretty nice selection of buns as well. I highly recommend this place for a quick bite or takeaway. Their custard bun makes for a great dessert after all their other options.
Delicious buns, cucumber and GREAT curried fish balls. Eat in the very pretty tiled room or take out. Only thing we were less into was the salted soda - it was diet. Tea probably a better bet.
Delicious cheap eats - Hot Steamed Buns with well flavored fillings: Chicken and Veggie are the best ones but Fish and Beef are also almost as good. However the little bowl of Curry Fish Balls at £5.8 is not worth the price not to mention it lacks authenticity. For the sweet, not to miss is the HK style egg tart (non puff pastry version) which is a very rare find in London.
Got the salted egg custard bun to take away...it was warm, gooey and pretty delicious. Hard to eat without getting messy. Pricey for a relatively small custard bun but quality was good.
