Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London. It finished construction in 1589 and at the time was the largest and most accurate 4 faced chiming click in the world. The tower has five bells. Big Ben being the largest as it weighs over 13 tons. Due to refurbishing work that started in 2016, tours of Big Ben have been suspended until 2021. But put it in your dairy as it is definitely well worth a visit when it reopens.

A wonderful experience at one of London’s most famous landmarks. Currently seems under maintenance. Also iconic tourist mark. The feeling of seeing the tower is a nostalgic moment from our childhood stories. Walking by and clicking the shots from such a places is fun! From central London, Big Ben is visible if we stay closer to the river. A lovely view to the tower from Westminster Bridge.

An iconic part of London. The entire area really is excellent. I have had the pleasure of taking the tour a while back. The architecture is very impressive. It's wonderful to stand there as it towers above you. This is a MUST see for all locals and visitors of London. Heavily recommended.

I am sure it's spectacular, but It is not even visible at the moment due to renovation. It's all covered in construction rags. However, it's still worth a trip as building of Parliament and Westminster Abby are right there and they are definitely attractions that you may want to see if you are interested in architecture. There are other interesting architecture around as well.
