Tea and tea cake were lovely. The chocolate orange gluten free cake was amazingly tasty and good texture. Would definitely have that again. Great little spot and friendly staff.

Warm and welcoming staff creates a great atmosphere for families and friends! Excellent coffee, scrumptious food and beautiful doggos. We will certainly be back asap!

Love Bean & Cole - really friendly staff, not just dog-friendly they actually love dogs. Coffee is really nice and they are happy to recommend new blends. Highly recommended.

Very chilled atmosphere, really welcoming & friendly staff. Coffee, cakes and some savoury snacks - delicious! Free water dispenser with fresh fruit in it for a refreshing drink. If you like a more local coffee shop, as opposed to a 'chain' equivalent...this is a must!! In my humble opinion. Oh, dog friendly as well.

Bean & Cole is a slightly pretentious and carefully curated “hipster” style cafe. Chester doesn’t really need yet another coffee shop but this doesn’t detract from its high quality, simple food. The menu is quite sparse but they have a good selection of specials and I feel that the lack of choice allows a greater attention to detail. I would highly recommend the salmon on toast. It is perfectly seasoned and the toast has a delicious cream cheese spread. The coffee is really good too and there is often a selection of fresh pastries. I would recommend Bean & Cole over any of the other homogeneous chains like Starbucks and Costa because of the fresh food and friendly staff. The only real downside, apart from my subjective opinion, is the dog friendly (positive) staff often stroke the dogs and neglect to wash their hands before touching plates and preparing coffees. It would be good to see better hygiene if possible.
