Bates Green Garden is absolutely delightful at the moment, I highly recommend paying the extra for the empty Bluebell walk, because although it's empty of bluebells that's kind of the point. It's also free of all the usual noise so you can just sit and enjoy the birdsong in lovely peace and quiet. The heart shaped meadow walk at the end of the garden is a nice touch. The Focaccia bread and fresh cakes for lunch were amazing as well!

Beautiful and peaceful. The woods are lovely even though the bluebells have finished. The pathways are all open now. Bates farmhouse garden is lovely, created by the late Carolyn McCutchan. What a legacy she has left, thank you John for sharing it with us.

I took a nice leisurely stroll with my wife and golden retriever around the Bluebell walk today and half way around sat on one of the many benches and had a lovely picnic. The woods were crammed with Bluebells and anemones, a photographers paradise. There are toilets on site & dog pooh bins. Plenty of information boards giving info about what you can see around you. Nice large car park and a couple of shops at the entrance. Very cheap to get in and the staff are making sure that it is covid safe. Looking forward to my next visit.

So very beautiful. A peaceful place to take in and enjoy nature. The scent was heavenly. Well worth a visit to see the English Bluebells and pretty white Wood Anemones.

Arlington bluebell walk is still great. Covid procedures meant no refreshments but some stalls were still present i. e. Plants. The wood is still managed well producing a carpet of bluebells. The cold spring meant that the anemones got a longer showing than normal before the transition to the bluebells but still beautiful.
