This temple was huge!. There was so many beautiful things to look at. I spent around two hours but could have easily spent another hour. The reclining Buddha was awesome. It was housed in a beautiful temple with artwork covering the entire inside of the building. Women are required to cover their ankles and shoulders but they have scarves they borrow out if you do not have anything. It is definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful temple. You need to be appropriately clothed to enter (more for ladies: shoulders covered and covered to below the knees), they do offer some scarves to cover yourself up. Ticket included a bottle of water which was great. We paid to have a tour guide take us round so we really got to experience and understand the history of the temple. That is optional, though they can be a bit pushy! Lovely couple of hours walking around. Nice souvenir shop and fairly clean toilets.

One of the most visited place in Bangkok. It is said that more than 200+ Buddha statue are here. But two main Buddha are Standing Buddha and Sleeping Buddha. These two are about 100 years old. You can see chines sculpture art in the form of buddha status and guard status. For photographer its a good place to have pictures 😁

Photos can never do justice to the feelings you'll experience when you see the gigantic reclining Buddha in person. Have seen plenty of images online of this statue, but nothing comes close to the experience. Also, pay heed to the walls of the temple where the Buddha is housed. Every inch is covered with intricate paintings. It's breathtaking. Give this place a good two hours to walk around and enjoy the serene structures, statues and carvings. It's a beautifully maintained temple. However, we luckily went on a Monday and managed to see relatively lesser crowds here. Have heard weekends can be very difficult with crowds everywhere.

I really liked this place. It's not very big and it helps you exploring it with calm. The reclined Buddha is simply astonishing. A server of peace surrounds you there. I appreciated a lot also the fact that a bottle of water was included in the ticket, very helpful as it was quite hot
