Stunning Lanna temple and amazingly well kept and maintained grounds. If you like plants and orchids you won't be disappointed, one of the best maintained and charming temple complexes I've visited and I've been to many. The local ladies super friendly and it's a great place to pick up some affordable souvenirs and see local handicrafts being produced. Really well worth the effort to check out if you are visiting Nan. In the height of the rainy season the rice paddies are a sight for sore eyes. a million miles from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. The murals inside the temple are of historic significance and the whole place has a serene and calming quality -not to be missed.
Nong Bua Temple is an old temple of Nong Bua Village. Well managed and maintained by local residents, Tai Lü (an ethnic group). The antique wall painting is so stunning and the architecture itself is simple but elegant. A group of elderly perform their own folk songs in front of the temple. So impressive.
Ancient temple with demonstration of Thai traditional living. Very nice.
Nice wall painting, live music, great for touring. Lots of smiles
Great paintings with nice plantative environments
