It was a very beautiful sight in Bangkok. It is named after the Hindu God Arun which means Sun. It can only be accessed after a small ferry ride that takes barely five minutes. You get a magnificent view from the boat. It provides a good opportunity to take some amazing pictures. However, the sad part is that they have partially restricted access to the top, for safety reasons I suppose, so you can't reach the top which would have given an awesome view of Bangkok. After visiting it you can take a boat tour. All of this is my personal experience and I just didn't want to get out of the boat, it was really that calming. Depending upon your purchase, you can hop on and off the boat either once or multiple times. Asiatique is the last stop and you can spend an entire evening until late night here. Chinatown is also good for foodies. Honestly, being there means that you can visit many other places that are nearby. At the end it will be a day well spent.

This temple is also known as the Temple of Dawn. Apart from the famous stupas/pagodas, inside the ordination hall is the Buddha statue designed and casted by King Rama II and slightly below the statue is where the King Relics were housed. Members of the King descendants usually hold their religious rites inside this ordination hall. Be discreet and respectful upon entering the hall.

Beautiful and quiet place in the heart of Bangkok. Would highly recommend taking a boat here (60 baht one way/200 day pass). There's on site tours but not anything you can't Google before hand. Just enjoy the space, take a few pictures, and appreciate the unique Thai culture!

Looks much bigger in the pictures than in real life. The temple itself is very beautiful. There are small gardens near it which are also beautiful and very picture friendly
