Was an amazing experience. To hear the sad stories of how the elephants use to be treated and now seeing how well looked after they are is amazing. No riding, no bathing. You get to feed them and just observe them playing in water, eating and going wherever they want to. No chains , no ropes just happy elephants Great buffet lunch after. Get day out.

We had a really amazing time at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary! We went in May this year. It's 100% ethical: no elephant rides, no tricks or shows, no labour of elephants, no chains and no torture for entertainment. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable; their passion and care for the elephants really shines through. The conservation work these guys do is so important and worth supporting. There's even a free vegetarian lunch included! This is the place to go to see elephants when you're in the South of Thailand; highly recomend a visit!

Beautiful Foundation, Very kind and passionate staff and volunteers. Please don't be angry that you can't swim or mud bath with them,Or even worse ride them. They are still acclimating to their new life on the property and they are all living like they should have. Each elephant has her own 24 hr.caretaker.and access to the water and plenty of food and veterinarian care. The sanctuary relies on donations to continue their work and to save more elephants in the near future. So please consider donating or visiting when in Thailand.I will always remember my. Is it here and the dogs and cats and staff as well.God bless you all.

We enjoyed our visit to this Elephant Sanctuary for elephants rescued from hard labour in the tourism industry and timber industry. We are impressed by the car and rehabilitation given to these big but sensitive animals. I would suggest anyone who can spare half a day, please visit.

Absolutely amazing morning with the elephants. As a biologist I respect and admire the mission of this place to provide a final home for mistreated elephants. The grounds were very naturalistic although there is some construction ongoing (to make a new observation path and create more shelters to house more elephants). We had a great day and found the staff to be wonderful and kind. The buffet lunch (all vegetarian) was also delicious. Worth every penny!
