We visited this place just after the rain so there was not many monkeys but still.. we saw them! They are just hanging around and waiting for people to give them them food. You can come very close to them and make great pictures but bare in mind they are still wild animals and can bite you. So have fun, enjoy these little creatures and stay safe! Also there is a great view point overlooking the Old Phuket Town and the sea. Not crowded with few cafes out there.

Its awesome experience. Do not feed the monkeys. It is tempting but can be a very scary experience. They will swarm you as soon as they know you have food or drinks

It was really beautiful, it's challenging to climb it all the way to the top , but not impossible, just make sure you have water with you . A lot of monkeys running around , playing and you can feed them , just be careful because they can be a bit too curious or persuasive. And it's completely free family friendly activity

Awesome view and monkeys are cool but aggressive. Would be 5 stars if monkeys were friendlier. For feeding try to find an area where theres not a lot of monkeys but just a couple. Feeding will be a lot more enjoyable as the more monkeys the more competition for food. They will jump and try to rip things out of your hands. They will try to open up your backpack. They will wrestle each other to get to your food. They went bananas for bananas :) Caution if you have kids!! Side note. I went on a weekday and not many people at the time. Which may mean monkeys were hungrier than normal. Maybe well fed monkeys wont be as aggressive.

Fun walk with lots of monkeys, viewpoints are very beautiful, but definitely go early. I went midday and I was drenched in sweat, bring water and your camera and have a good time
