Definitely a 5 star experience. Lovely food. Lovely ambience and most importantly lovely hosts. The cafe is in residential area without many vehicles or noise around. They also have pre loved stuff for sale, the profits of which go to support refugees. I met the owner Lisa, who has been living in Thailand for 15 years after she started working for Refugees in northern Thailand. What an inspiring lady!!!! If you are in Chiang Mai, leave the hustle and bustle of busy city and go to Free Bird Cafe for a meal. You won't regret it.
This place never disappoints! So much delicious vegan food. Today I had a new edition to their menu. Vegan mac and cheese and cheese and broccoli samosas! Absolutely delicious!! They’re is also a zero waste shop and second hand items for sale. I love the energy of this place. There is a real community here. If you’re in Chiang Mai you must come here!
A fabulous vegan restaurant. The food is amazing. We came for breakfast and it was just wow. Back for a weekly ladies lunch. It has a charity shop and a little shop selling vegan teas and toiletries. All the profits go to charity. Love it
I love everything about this place. Amazing food and relaxing atmosphere! When I'm there to eat, I give myself extra time to browse the zero waste store and secondhand store. There's always something new and fun to buy to support this social enterprise for Burmese refugees. Check out their page on Facebook. They often have great workshops and events happening at their space!
Atmosphere is really chill and relaxed. Food is ok. Bit pricey. Has a small thrift shop of second hand goods and home made soap as well
Sharing is caring!
